I use this on my Patrol carbine. My carbine is a Bravo Company Manufacturing 16" mid-length upper + Spike's Tactical lower. I use a CMT Full-auto BCG, Spike's ST-T2 Heavy buffer, Tubbs Flat-wire buffer spring, and this buffer-tip replacement from BJB. Holy COW...it just works. It really does smooth the recoil impulse. It is noticeable immediately. Don't get me wrong; it's not the difference that a GOOD muzzle brake would make...but it is noticeable. It is especially noticeable when you have to fire quickly and transition between targets....your gun just doesn't move as much. It's one of the best mods-for-the-money that exist. Buy one and install it on your buffer; you won't regret it. All it takes is a roll-punch and a plastic-tipped hammer. Just buy one. It's a no-brainer.
