I ordered 2 of these to install on both my Saiga 7.62x39 and my Saiga .308
Both fit like a charm, no snags or hang-ups. Fit outstandingly on my Saiga .308, like it was factory made.

The material isn't a hard plastic nor a soft rubber, its a mix of both.
I'd suggest purchasing at least one to try it out.
