Nitesiters are super industrial self-adhesive laminates that you can apply to your regular iron sights to make three dot or any arrangement to suit your own shooting style. The sights are resistant to scratching and moisture. They are engineered to be reliable under the most adverse conditions you might encounter, yet they can be removed without harming your firearm. The phosphors are Alkaline Earth Metal Compounds doped with Europium.

Nitesiters vs. Tritium

Nitesiters are super photo luminescent, and not self luminescent, like Tritium. That means they need exposure to light before using them. The good news is, 10 minutes of sunlight, 20 minutes of close lamp light, or 5 minutes of Ultraviolet light is all it takes to provide many hours of luminosity. Charge Nitesiters before going out for the night, and they’ll stay charged until morning. If you have a bedside firearm for home defense, we recommend that you keep a UV penlight or bright LED flashlight with your firearm so you can quickly charge it if necessary. Tritium sights are popular, but they are very expensive and almost impossible for the user to install. They are also dim compared with Nitesiters. Tritium sights are visible in total darkness, but can disappear in low to medium ambient light situations. Nitesiters remain visible in all lighting situations. They even improve sighting in broad daylight on many handguns. Nitesiters are a night sight alternative everybody can afford.

The Best Handguns for Nitesiters...

Basically, if you have enough room on your smooth steel sights to place a dot 2 mm in diameter, you can probably use Nitesiters. If you have recessed 2 mm, or bigger, 3 dot or 2 dot sites you can use Nitesiters. The 2mm, super adhesive, super photo luminescent dots fit perfectly into the recessed 3 dot sights of the Beretta 92, Taurus PT92, Glock and Kimber autoloaders. They also fit the 2 dot heinie sights of Taurus autoloaders like the 1911 and 24/7. They also adhere to the smooth fixed steel combat sights of most revolvers.

NOTICE: Nitesiters don't fit on some adjustable rear sights where there isn't enough room for them. The dots don't adhere well to some plastic sights, textured or painted finishes and grooved or serrated front ramp sights, but will stick very well if you apply a drop of superglue. Cheaply painted sights, like those on the Kel Tec P11 and PF9 may be harmed by cleaning them with alcohol and exposure to adhesive.
